Senior Radar System Engineer

PULSE, the joint venture betweenEDGEandINDRA, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Radar Systems Engineer to drive the design, development, and validation of advanced radar systems across the full engineering lifecycle. This role requires a strong balance of theoretical expertise and hands‑on experience, with responsibility for defining system architecture, performing detailed modelling and performance analysis, and ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software components.ResponsibilitiesLead radar system design activities, covering architecture definition (Pulsed, FMCW, AESA), signal/data processing, and RF and antenna specifications.Perform system modelling and performance analysis using MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or radar simulation tools.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical consistency across the radar system and comply with defense engineering standards (e.g., MIL-STD).Execute hardware/software integration, testing, and qualification in lab and field environments, using professional RF and measurement equipment.Support validation campaigns, troubleshoot system issues at all levels, and contribute to documentation, design reviews, and customer‑facing technical discussions.RequirementsMinimum 6+ years of experience in radar engineering rolesProven ability to execute technical tasks within regulated environments (e.g., MIL-STD)Hands‑on experience with radar test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes)Solid background in modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink, Python, ADS, CST)Experience managing cross‑functional teams in complex system developmentFamiliarity with requirements traceability and verification matricesStrong communication skills and ability to represent the company in technical reviews.#J-18808-Ljbffr
