About the jobPosition: Senior Quantity SurveyorJob OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Senior QS, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quantity surveying process, from initial estimates to final accounts. You will work closely with our project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, taking into consideration all relevant factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costsReview and analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost‑saving opportunitiesConduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contract specificationsPrepare and submit progress payment applications and variations to clientsManage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliersProvide regular cost reports and forecasts to project management teamReview and approve subcontractor and supplier invoicesIdentify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to project costsMentor and train junior quantity surveyors within the teamQualificationsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in fit‑out joinery or construction industryStrong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, methods, and techniquesExcellent analytical and problem‑solving skillsProven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong negotiation and communication skillsProficient in using quantity surveying software and MS OfficeMembership with a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS, CIOB) is preferredBenefitsCompetitive salary packageHealth insurance coverageAnnual leave and public holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesDynamic and collaborative work environmentIf you are a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this position.
