Senior QC Engineer - Mechanical

<div><h3>Main Purpose of Job</h3><ul><li>Manage the operation of the Quality Control (QC) on site by preparing and implementing Quality Controls Plans and Procedures according to Company QC procedures, International standards and specific contract requirements.</li></ul><h3>Duties and Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Supervise and manage all Quality Control functions in the workplace and manage a team of QC engineers and welding inspectors for day to day QC functions.</li><li>Coordinate with Non Destructive Examinations (NDE) sub-contractors for enquiry quotations.</li><li>Coordinate with testing Agencies for Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and all other required tests.</li><li>Interface and coordinate with clients for production/construction and QC matters and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.</li><li>Prepare Quality Control procedures/work instruction, ITP (Inspection Test Plans) according to project/client requirements and follow-up for its approval and monitor the implementation.</li><li>act as a coordination point for ISO internal and external audits.</li><li>Plan and undertake Subcontractor audits and reviews of Sub contractor quality control programs.</li><li>Supervise all QC related activities in Piping/Pipe line, Equipment, Tanks, Painting, Fireproofing and Insulation.</li><li>Supervise of Piping and pipeline Test packages.</li><li>supervise all QC related activities in HVAC, static&rotating equipment installation, Firefighting system and Painting (for C&I Project).</li><li>Supervise the various drawings used in the projects for executing the work.</li><li>Pursue any other activities within the job scope assigned by his direct Manager or organization management.</li></ul><h3>Safety and Quality Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintain the safety standards and comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System Requirements.</li><li>Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.</li><li>Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.</li></ul><h3>Social Compliance Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintain company’s social management system policy via follow and report any deviated cases against PSP IMS policy.</li><li>Take his own responsibility to comply with the social accountability requirements according to the standard SA8000.</li><li>Co-operate with the SP team for any further communication in order to improve and enhance the level of implementation and compliance with the company’s social management system.</li></ul><h3>Required Functional Qualification</h3><h3>Basic Requirements</h3><ul><li>Qualification: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or any relevant discipline.</li><li>Related Field Experience: +5 years of experience in related field.</li><li>Overall Experience: +5 years of experience.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
