Senior QAQC Engineer, Mechanical, MEP-HVAC

ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with company and client requirements.Conduct inspection and testing of mechanical works including piping HVAC firefighting systems equipment installation and structural components.Review and approve method statements ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and quality procedures.Ensure all mechanical installations comply with project specifications drawings and international standards such as ASME API ASTM ISO and NFPA.Coordinate with site engineers supervisors and subcontractors to ensure quality compliance.Conduct material inspections and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and vendor documentation.Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.Witness and document pressure tests hydrotests pneumatic tests and equipment functional tests.Maintain quality records including inspection reports checklists and test reports.Support internal and external quality audits.Liaise with client representatives and third-party inspectors during inspections and approvals.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).Minimum 8 yearsof experience in QA/QC for Mechanical works in Oil & Gas / MEP projects.Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME API ASTM AWS).Experience working with ADNOC or major Oil & Gas clients is preferred.CSWIP / AWS / API certification is an added advantage.Good understanding of welding NDT material inspection and mechanical testing.Strong communication coordination and reporting skills.Additional InformationSkills & Professional RequirementsGood with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.Great attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office and competency in computer software (e.g. Oracle or SAP) is preferred.Attributes and BehavioursGood organizational abilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
