Thoroughly review Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents.Prepare scope presentation and define the Tender Responsibility Matrix in accordance with the estimation process.Tender Kick-Off and Risk AnalysisParticipate in internal kick-off meetings.Identify potential risks and contribute to the development of bidding strategies.Pre-bid Meetings and Market IntelligenceLead discussions and finalize outcomes of Pre-bid Kick-Off Meetings (KOM).Conduct competitor analysis to support strategic bidding.Technical Documentation PreparationDevelop key project documents including:Organizational ChartsResource HistogramsProject SchedulesSite Visits and ReportingConduct site visits and compile comprehensive reports addressing site conditions, logistics, and potential challenges.Client Interaction and Clarification HandlingAddress ongoing technical and commercial clarifications during both pre-bid and post-bid phases.Support the tender team through to successful contract award.Client MeetingsRepresent the company in client discussions related to technical and commercial terms during tender submission.Vendor Coordination and Technical EvaluationSource compliant sub-vendor quotations for bought-out items.Conduct technical bid evaluations and comparisons.Internal CoordinationCoordinate with relevant internal departments (particularly based in Oman) for compiling the techno-commercial proposal.Prepare detailed cost estimates aligned with the tender specifications and addendums.Proposal Compilation and ReviewsCompile complete technical and commercial proposals as per bid requirements.Participate in internal commercial review meetings for final approvals.Post-Award ReviewConduct contract reviews post-award to ensure alignment with ITT and any addendums.Project HandoverActively support and participate in handover meetings to transition the project to the operations team.RequirementsTechnical Certifications RequirementWork Experience RequirementMinimum of 10 - 15 years total experience in Estimation and Proposals, with good knowledge of EPC, Construction, maintenance and long term call off contracts in Oil and gas Industry.Minimum recent experience in Qatar – 5 years is mandatory for Qatar office based for Chennai office GCC experience mandatoryField Experience in the construction/maintenance will be added advantageSkills and CompetenciesTender review, estimation, project scheduling, costing and material takeoff for oil and gas facilities.
