MissionThe Senior Project Manager is in charge of the complete implementation of the management strategy for projects under their responsibility, and for which they have the support of resources either inside or outside the affiliate.To meet the expectations of Clients, for whom they are the direct and key contact, the Senior Project Manager supervises architectural and technical studies. Every decision of design modification leading to financial consequences is taken by them. At the same time, they guarantee the economic balance of the project and the respect of Quality principles. They also deal with all the contractual issues between Artelia Airports and its clients.In the management of studies, the Senior Project Manager supervises the project teams made available, draws up and manages design contracts entered into with designers outside Artelia Airports, and guarantees their functioning. With the support of the functional resources of affiliates, they define the subcontracting strategy, then draft and manage the subcontracting contracts necessary to project implementation.They contribute to the definition of the affiliate's strategic focus.Line and Staff RelationsThe role will directly report to the Director, Production and Operations and will work in close collaboration with the following teams:Artelia Airports StaffDesign ManagerContract AdministratorDirector of Tendering and ConsultingResident EngineerPlanning EngineerDesign Team, all disciplinesSupervision Team at siteQA/QC ManagerHSE ManagerExternal CollaboratorsClient RepresentativesSub-ConsultantsContractors / Sub-ContractorsKey ResponsibilitiesEnsures the management of signed contractsNegotiates the technical and financial approach to projects in the portfolio (with Executive Management assisted by the Business Development Manager)Defines the progress of the project (consistent with the Client's specifications) and the recourse to outside resources (subcontracting)Defines the technical, budgetary and financial resources necessaryDefines resources to be implemented and monitoring indicatorsMonitors Executive Management's continuous and adequate information as far as finance, technical choices and deadlines are concerned, providing the Administrative, Financial and Human Resources Director and the Director of Production and Operations with the data necessary to their audit (Control Panels and performance indicators)Uses feedback information from the Administrative, Financial and Human Resources Director and the Director of Production and Operations in the management of the projectSupervises studies and manages teamsBreaks specifications down into study objectives and study team needsEstablishes the monitoring indicators of studies to be carried outDirects, focuses and coordinates the group of project contributors, i.e. is in charge of teams under their direct responsibilityFocuses and coordinates the work of outside designersCoordinates the work of teams, including those teams working on the siteMonitors subcontractorsMonitors Artelia Airports spending and manages it in relation to projected financial schedulesGuarantees project / Client program appropriateness (functional and technical aspects, study and finishing deadlines and target costs)Monitors Quality and the respect of project deadlines through continuous dialogue with outside designers (optimization of economic choices, project consistency)Contributes to the concrete production of studiesUpdates the Director of Operations and Production on technical baseManages Client relationsConducts the technical dialogue on the project with the Client (technical choices, functionality)Validates the various stages of the project with the ClientConducts the closure of services due under contracts entered into with ClientsImplements contracts entered into with the ClientsMonitors the deadlines, quality and costs follow‑upReports to executive management any changes of the Artelia Airports contractPrepares, with support from the Business Development Manager, the technical and financial files for possible complaints (follow‑up letters, etc.)Advises the Business Development Manager and Executive Management on market opportunities when requiredUpdates load plans byDefining staff needs according to their skillsAllowing or denying additional missionsAccepting vacationsManaging all the means needed for the projectSigns all the instructions to the contractor including:Notice to proceed and eventually to stop the works on siteTechnical variation ordersFinancial variation ordersSchedule variation ordersPenalty orders for delayValidates all the contractors' submittals and quality control plans produced by contractors or delegates such responsibilityFollows the project for Artelia Airports byFollowing its spending and invoicesApprovesthe schedule for the projectthe missions and reporting it to the Managing DirectorContributes to the fulfillment of Quality objectives within the framework of their activitiesProfile Sp
