Senior Project Manager - PMC MEP

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - PMC MEP to join our organization in Dubai United Arab this pivotal role you will oversee the planning execution and completion of complex MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams manage stakeholder relationships and drive project success through strategic planning and decisive decision-making.Oversee all phases of MEP project delivery from pre-construction planning through final completion and handoverDevelop comprehensive project schedules budgets and resource plans; monitor progress and implement corrective actions as neededLead and mentor project teams including engineers coordinators and site supervisors fostering a collaborative and high-performance environmentManage stakeholder communications including clients consultants contractors and regulatory authoritiesCoordinate MEP systems design installation and testing to ensure compliance with specifications and applicable codesMonitor project costs manage change orders and implement cost control measures to maintain budget integrityIdentify assess and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans to address potential issuesConduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure work meets contractual requirements and industry standardsManage vendor and subcontractor relationships including procurement performance evaluation and contract administrationPrepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including reports schedules and compliance recordsEnsure adherence to health safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycleAnalyze project performance metrics and implement process improvements for future initiativesQualificationsMinimum 15 years of project management experience with at least 5 years specifically in MEP or construction project managementProven expertise in managing large-scale commercial residential or mixed-use projectsStrong knowledge of MEP systems including mechanical HVAC systems electrical distribution and plumbing infrastructureProficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project Primavera P6 or equivalent toolsDemonstrated experience in budget management cost estimation and financial forecastingExpertise in schedule development resource planning and critical path analysisStrong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop project teamsExcellent stakeholder management and communication abilitiesExperience with contract management and vendor coordinationKnowledge of construction documentation specifications and technical drawingsFamiliarity with quality assurance and quality control processesUnderstanding of health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practicesPreferred: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certificationPreferred: Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital project management toolsPreferred: Knowledge of UAE construction standards regulations and local building codesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailProfessional demeanor with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environmentAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
