Senior Project Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with the following details :Location : Dubai, UAE with mission in IRAQDuration : 24 months with the possibility of extensionStart Date : APR 2026Qualifications / Experience requiredMandatory experience in a similar position: 10 YearsDegree: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldProfessional experience: 15 years minimum.Excellent knowledge in civil works & earthworks, infrastructures, engineering, construction, installation, commissioningKnowledge and understanding of contract managementProject management skills (Budget/Cost/Schedule)Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Language: English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing), French and/or Arabic language is a plus.Job DimensionsDuring the Detailed Engineering phase, the job holder is responsible, within the GPP team located in the engineering offices and under the GPP Package Manager, for overseeing and advising the engineering team with regards to engineering activities related to construction and procurement.The job holder is also in charge of the preparation of the overall construction activities to be carried out by the EPC Contractor on SITE in IRAQ (and Subcontractors).The job holder ensures that all HSSE, Quality and Technical contractual requirements are duly applied by EPC Contractor and all Subcontractors on the construction discipline.The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE, ethics and "code of conduct".The job holder is responsible to:Oversee all engineering activities related to procurement and construction during Detailed Engineering phase,and close follow up for both area OSA/Utilities & ProcessPrepare the onshore campaignEnsure close out#J-18808-Ljbffr
