Senior Program Manager Payment BenchmarkingAre you interested in joining a fastpaced technology leader shaping the future of online payments? Amazon, a Fortune 500 company based in Seattle Washington, seeks a motivated program manager for our MENA & APAC Payments team in Dubai UAE.Amazon Payments operates the software platform processing 20 payment methods/products across MENA and APAC. The MENA and APAC Payments Team is part of the larger Payments Division encompassing product management, software development and business/technical operations. The team manages payment business development products performance and customer experience collaborating with internal stakeholders (retail, digital businesses, marketing, checkout, customer service, finance, legal, risk, etc.) and external payment partners including banks.The role will lead strategic benchmarking programs that drive payment business growth and enhance customer experience. As a Senior Program Manager, you'll identify opportunities and drive decisions to improve payment access, affordability, affinity and trust across multiple markets.Ideal candidates are motivated self‑starters who can work independently in a fast-paced ambiguous environment with limited supervision. The successful candidate will be a quick learner who can grasp the complexities of Amazon's payment offerings and internal systems, demonstrate analytical decision‑making skills and have a proven track record of driving programs to completion. Experience in the payments or prepaid card industry is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex benchmarking programs across the Payments organization and broader Amazon teamsDrive strategic analysis of the payment landscape, market trends and competitive positioningPartner with senior stakeholders to define and execute payment improvement initiativesDevelop and manage comprehensive benchmarking frameworks and metricsLead cross‑functional teams to implement identified opportunitiesMentor program managers and provide thought leadership in payment benchmarkingPresent findings and recommendations to senior leadershipQualifications8 years of relevant experience in program/project managementDeep understanding of the payment industry and digital payment ecosystemsStrong analytical and data interpretation skillsExperience leading cross‑functional teams and influencing senior stakeholdersTrack record of driving complex programs to completionExcellent communication and presentation skillsBachelor's degree requiredMaster's degree preferredPMP certificate preferredOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
