Responsibilities & Expectations As a Senior Product Designer at Hoxton Wealth you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the user experience of a product from its initial concept to its launch working closely with product managers engineers and stakeholders to ensure a successful outcome. You will play a pivotal role in the team collaborating with other designers to enhance their work and contribute to the overall teams success. Go deep into uncovering our users pain and delight points and identify unmet needs and opportunities throughout their financial investment journeys. Partnering with cross-functional business stakeholders to interpret goals into creative strategies and UX direction for the team. Sketch and prototype ideas to quickly assess their viability and technical feasibility with our team users and stakeholders. Design the micro-details and specs of components interactions and transitions. Design end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple and elegant yet effective in solving users needs and achieving the intended business outcomes. Work closely with engineers as you build iterate on and ship ideas. Partner with product managers to define and evolve product roadmaps. Staying updated on the latest industry trends and techniques and sharing knowledge with the team as a specialist in visual design. Collaborating with the team to establish and evolve our design system and apply it to our product experiences. About You 8 years of UX/UI design experience demonstrating proficiency in creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail in crafting user-centric designs that drive positive outcomes. You have solid experience designing digital products and design systems not just websites. You have helped ship products that solve real problems and that people use. Proficient in designing polished high-fidelity mockups design solutions and prototypes using Figma and other modern design tools. Familiarity with wealth management and fintech spaces and experience designing for global audiences. Demonstrable sense of accountability and extreme ownership with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects. Motivated self-starter who can deeply collaborate with other disciplines including product management engineering business and analytics. Strong communication skills to help people across the company understand the rationale behind your design solutions and the complex thinking that goes into your problem-solving process. Strong workshop facilitation skills and the ability to bring people together to collaborate on defining UX goals focusing on which problems to solve in addition to solid ideation and problem-solving techniques.
