Senior Procurement Engineer (Fit-Out Projects)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to join our team in Riyadh for high end fit‑out and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project controls functions including procurement package management, cost control, scheduling, and technical coordination of material and shop drawing submittals. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in procurement management for fit‑out works and possess solid technical knowledge to review and manage material submittals, shop drawings, and supplier documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ControlsEstablish and maintain project control systems including scheduling, cost monitoring, and reporting.Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with the approved baseline schedule.Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and management updates.Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.Procurement & Package ManagementManage procurement packages related to fit‑out work, including finishes, furniture, joinery, MEP coordination items, and specialist materials.Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely material sourcing and delivery.Track procurement schedules and supplier commitments.Ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and cost targets.Technical Submittals & DocumentationReview and manage material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation.Coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals of submittals.Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and contract requirements.Work closely with engineering and site teams to resolve technical issues.Coordination & CommunicationCoordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors.Maintain proper documentation and tracking systems for approvals and submissions.Support project teams in resolving procurement and technical challenges.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.10–12 years of experience in construction projects with a strong focus on fit‑out projects.Proven experience in procurement management, and technical submittals.Strong understanding of fit‑out materials, finishes, joinery, and MEP coordination.Experience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects is preferred.Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.Technical SkillsProficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project for scheduling.Strong knowledge of procurement tracking and project reporting tools.Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.Good knowledge of construction documentation and contract requirements.Key CompetenciesStrong technical understanding of fit‑out worksProcurement and supply chain coordinationProject scheduling and progress monitoringProblem‑solving and technical coordinationStakeholder communication and reportingDisclaimer: Black Pearl will never ask for money or any form to charge our candidates just to process or consider their application for any of our available vacancies.
