Job Description As a Senior Process Improvement Manager - Automation at CommBank, your role will involve leading the design, development, and scaling of enterprise automation and intelligent workflow solutions. You will need deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate) and hands-on experience in building AI agents and AI-driven workflows. Your responsibilities will include: - Lead end-to-end automation strategy, architecture, and execution across business functions. - Design, develop, and govern solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft ecosystem tools. - Establish best practices, standards, and reusable components for enterprise automation. - Design and implement AI-powered agents and workflows to automate decision-making, process optimization, and operational intelligence. - Collaborate with data science, engineering, and business teams to integrate AI capabilities into automation pipelines. - Manage and optimize large datasets using SQL, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity. - Provide hands-on guidance and architectural oversight for APEX-based applications and integrations. - Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing automation and engineering teams. - Engage with senior stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate business needs into technical solutions. - Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data privacy, and governance standards. - Define KPIs and success metrics to track automation ROI and operational impact. Qualifications required for this role include: - 15 years of overall IT/technology experience, with a focus on automation and workflow platforms. - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI-driven workflows. - Proficiency in SQL and APEX development. - Experience integrating automation platforms with enterprise systems and APIs. - Demonstrated experience leading large, complex automation programs. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
