We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.ResponsibilitiesEnsures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence.Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.Technical supervision of project designated process designers and draftsmen in the execution of their duty.Preparation/checking of Specifications, data sheets.Performance of bid evaluation and vendor document review and approval.Technical writing activities, in particular, production of technical reports and operating manuals.Manage studies and process-orientated projects as assigned.Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success.Implements innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence.Supports Lead Engineer in monitoring quality activities and takes action where required.Assist Project Team in project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules.Manage process design and any design changes within budget and schedule.Prepare and participate in weekly process discipline meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures.Review and approve all related technical documents and coordinate with the Lead Engineer.Management, technical execution and completion of engineering assigned tasks in a specific process discipline area.Execute verification, studies and detail design following best engineering practices and optimization in terms of cost, construction simplicity, operability and maintainability, HSSE.Job Specific KnowledgeDemonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment.Extensive knowledge of ADNOC VIP / VAP Assurance processes, API Standards (API-520, API-521, API-14C, API-14E) and statutory and regulatory requirements and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to process design for offshore oil and gas facilities.Experience in various phases of project life cycle with particular skills in Feasibility and Conceptual Engineering, field development and adequacy studies.Experience in processing of highly sour production fluids with extensive offshore engineering experience. Site experience is an advantage and willingness to travel to site and work in an operations support environment is essential.Experience of Option Selection Studies, debottlenecking and revamp projects and licensor packages.Excellent report writing and communication skills.Extensive knowledge of process simulation packages such as HYSYS, PROII, Flarenet.HTRI, Experience with dynamic simulation packages will be an advantage.Extensive experience in pipeline modeling using OLGA, Pipesim, pipeline studio, Pipephase, Pipenet is an advantage.Deciding and Initiating Action:Initiates and introduces changes into work processes;Makes quick, clear decisions that may include tough choices or considered risks;Recognizes the need for improved systems/processes and proactively recommends, develops and implements them.Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its client’s requirements.Leading and Supervising:Provides team members with a clear direction;Sets appropriate standards of behaviour.Industry Specific ExperienceExperience of process design in onshore/offshore oil & gas industry for Greenfield and Brownfield Projects, Experience in Ammonia and Hydrogen Plants and Refinery Processes would be an advantage.Experience of Field Development, Option Selection Studies, debottlenecking and revamp projects would be an advantage.Extensive Process Simulation for Plant and Pipelines is essentialEducation – Qualifications, Accreditation, TrainingFull-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited universityMoving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring
