Job Description
Job Description As a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer at Syneos Health, you will play a crucial role in developing custom programming code using R/RShiny/SAS or other software to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets as per the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that outputs meet quality standards and project requirements, performing validation programming, maintaining well-organized documentation, and managing scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects. You will also anticipate and address potential programming issues, participate in meetings, and act as the lead statistical programmer by directing programming activities of other personnel.
Qualifications Required:
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Extensive experience in statistical programming, preferably in a clinical or pharmaceutical setting
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, RShiny, or Python
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 or equivalent certification preferred
You will also need to have expertise in statistical programming and data analysis, proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
