About the job Senior Power-Supply EngineerPLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE WOULD REQUIRE RELOCATING TO ABU DHABISenior Power-Supply EngineerWe are seeking a hands‑on Senior Power‑Supply Engineer to design, develop, and validate high‑frequency power architectures for secure, mission‑critical communication systems.This is a deeply technical, hardware‑focused role centered on advanced AC‑DC/DC‑DC converter design, wide bandgap (GaN/SiC) technologies, EMI/EMC compliance, and full‑cycle hardware validation, not production support or maintenance engineering.You will work closely with system architects, RF engineers, PCB designers, and mechanical teams to deliver robust, high‑efficiency power solutions used in aerospace, defence, and high‑reliability telecom environments.You will play a key role in enabling next‑generation secure communication platforms by ensuring stable, efficient, and compliant power delivery across complex electronic systems.What You’ll DoDesign high‑frequency AC‑DC and DC‑DC switching converters, including GaN‑based topologiesSelect and size GaN/SiC devices, MOSFETs, magnetics, and control componentsDevelop and validate system‑level power‑tree architecturesPerform switch‑mode simulations (LTspice, ADS, PLECS) to verify efficiency, stability, and transient responseOwn EMI/EMC mitigation strategy and support compliance testing and certification activitiesDevelop PCB layout guidelines for high‑frequency switching circuitsConduct thermal analysis and collaborate on enclosure‑level thermal managementSupport hardware bring‑up and debug power‑rail issues on prototype boardsTroubleshoot complex issues across hardware boundariesProduce clear technical documentation, validation reports, and compliance artefactsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering8+ years of experience designing high‑frequency switching power suppliesStrong background in AC‑DC and DC‑DC converter topologiesHands‑on experience with GaN or SiC power devicesExperience running and correlating switch‑mode simulationsProven EMI/EMC testing and mitigation experienceStrong understanding of PCB layout best practices for high‑speed switching circuitsExperience supporting hardware bring‑up and lab validationApply directly or reach out for a confidential discussion.Please note the hiring process can take approximately 2‑4 months to reach offer stage due to multiple interview phases and required security clearances.PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE REQUIRES RELOCATION TO ABU DHABI#J-18808-Ljbffr
