Senior Planning Manager

We are working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor in Riyadh to appoint a Senior Planning Manager to lead planning and programme controls across a major mixed use project. This role will play a critical part in ensuring successful project delivery on large scale, complex developments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning function across one or multiple large scale projects, ensuring robust programme development and control.Develop, manage, and update detailed project programmes from tender through to completion.Provide strategic planning input during pre‑contract and post‑contract stages. Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement recovery strategies where required. Manage and mentor a team of planning engineers and senior planners. Work closely with project, commercial, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with programme objectives. Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and critical path analysis to senior stakeholders. Support claims and extension of time (EOT) submissions with detailed programme analysis.RequirementsMinimum 15+ years’ experience in planning and project controls within main contracting. Proven experience leading planning on projects valued at SAR 1 Billion+. Strong background in large‑scale building projects in the Middle East. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and planning tools. Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts, EOTs, and delay analysis techniques.
