Senior Planning Engineer – Fit-Out Projects

OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with strong expertise in fit-out projects to join our team. The role involves developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring fit-out works are delivered in line with approved timelines and project objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed project schedules for fit-out projects using Primavera P6 or similar planning softwarePrepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plansMonitor project progress, analyze delays, and provide time impact analysis (TIA)Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to align planning activitiesReview contractor schedules, progress reports, and method statementsTrack milestones, critical paths, and resource loadingPrepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and presentationsSupport claims, variations, and extensions of time (EOT) with proper schedule analysisEnsure planning activities comply with contract requirements and project standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fieldMinimum 12-15 years of experience, with strong focus on fit-out projectsProven experience as a Planning Engineer on commercial, hospitality, or retail fit-out projectsAdvanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and reporting toolsStrong analytical, coordination, and communication skillsExperience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC regionKnowledge of FIDIC contractsAbility to manage multiple fit-out projects simultaneouslyTo view other vacancies we have, please check our website at www.blackpearlconsult.com and follow us on our social media accounts: LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter/Instagram.Disclaimer: Black Pearl will never ask for money or any form to charge candidates to process or consider their application for any of our vacancies.
