Senior Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will play a crucial role in developing and managing complex project schedules ensuring timely delivery of our engineering and construction projects.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using advanced planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS ProjectCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various project components and ensure alignment with overall project goalsAnalyze project progress identify potential delays and propose mitigation strategiesPrepare and present comprehensive progress reports to stakeholders and senior managementConduct resource allocation analysis and optimize workforce utilization across projectsImplement and monitor Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to track project performanceCoordinate with procurement teams to align material delivery schedules with project timelinesAssist in the development of project execution plans and work breakdown structuresProvide mentorship and guidance to junior planning engineersContribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologiesEnsure compliance with local construction regulations and practices in the UAEQualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field; advanced degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale engineering or construction projectsExpert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS ProjectAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office applications particularly ExcelMust have experience in Oracle Risk AnalysisStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detailExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProven experience in applying project management methodologies and best practicesDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and clientsSolid understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies in project planningExperience working in the Middle East construction industry particularly in the UAEProficiency in both written and verbal English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusFamiliarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) softwareExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniquesKnowledge of construction industry standards and regulations including local UAE requirementsWillingness to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirementsRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
