Senior Planning Engineer

<div><h3>We're Hiring: Senior Planning Engineer - Building Construction Projects (United Arab Emirates)</h3><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a background in civil construction to join our project team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring timely project delivery, and coordinating effectively with project stakeholders. This role demands a solid understanding of construction methodologies, resource planning, and the use of planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Power Point, MS Office).</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Prepare detailed Project Construction Schedule including cost, resources, milestones, procurement and authority connections to obtain consultant’s approval.</li><li>Prepare Project Mobilization Schedule / Check List in accordance with the steps outlined in project mobilization procedures.</li><li>Prepare, review and approve the subcontractor’s program in line with the requirements of the baseline program and the contract.</li><li>Monitor the progress against the approved project construction schedule and alert the site management and the top management of any impediments that have the potential to jeopardize the milestone targets.</li><li>Prepare detailed monthly reports to the consultant including detailed status reports on progress, technical submissions, commercial aspects, progress photographs and HSE statistics.</li><li>Follow up closely the material deliveries for the project and ensure timely deliveries for on-time completion of the project and report findings in weekly internal progress meetings.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><b>Bachelor’s Degree</b>in Civil Engineering.</li><li><b>Minimum 10 years of experience in planning for building projects such as high rise residential and commercial, leisure centres, healthcare facilities, government buildings, industrial facilities etc. of which at least 5 years in similar role in contracting company in UAE</b>.</li><li>Proficiency in<b>Primavera P6, Power Point,</b>and<b>MS Office</b>.</li><li>Proven track record in successful planning of building projects from start to finish preferably in the UAE</li><li>Good command of the English language</li></ul><p>If you would like to share your updated CV, please send it to hr@dhafirdc.com</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
