Senior pipeline design engineer (cross-country pipeline projects)

LocationQatarIndustry & TypeIndustry: Oil & Gas | Engineering ConsultancyType of Job: PermanentWe have anurgent hiring requirementfor a highly skilledLead Pipeline Engineerwith strong expertise acrossConcept, FEED, and Detailed Design , particularly forlarge-diameter, cross-country pipeline projects.Preferred Background:Candidates from reputable global engineering consultancies such asILF, Penspen, Worley, Wood, Mc Dermott, or similarwill be given priority.Key ResponsibilitiesLead pipeline engineering activities for concept, FEED, and detailed design phases.Prepare and review project specifications, technical documents, and pipeline engineering calculations.Review and approve vendor drawings, technical bid evaluations, and material requisitions.Develop pipeline layouts, routing, ROW selection, hydrotest plans, HDD design, and stress analysis.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and project timelines.Qualifications & Skills10+ yearsof experience in pipeline engineering/design.Strong exposure tocross-country, large-diameter pipelineprojects.Expertise in design standards, regulatory codes, and pipeline engineering software tools.Experience with pipeline studies: wall thickness, HDD, hydrotest, buoyancy, stress analysis, HCA studies, etc.Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.MME/MMUP/UPDA certification(preferred).Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Piping OR Mechanical (PE/EIT certification is an advantage).
