Job Title: Senior Payments Test EngineerExperience 5+YrsLocation Riyadh (KSA)Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Payments Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of payment systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in payment processing, strong testing skills (manual + automation), and a solid understanding of financial transaction flows.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute test strategies for payment systems (SWIFT, card payments, UPI, wallets, etc.)Validate end-to-end payment workflows including authorization, clearing, and settlementEnd to end testing support in UAT and SIT environmentPerform functional, regression, integration, and performance testingWork closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify risksAnalyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and track issues to resolutionTest APIs, microservices, and backend payment integrationsSimulate real-world payment scenarios including failures, retries, and reconciliationParticipate in release planning and production validation (smoke testing)Required Skills & Qualifications5–10+ years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on payments domainHands‑on experience with payment systems (cards, gateways, acquiring, issuing, UPI, NEFT/RTGS, SWIFT)Knowledge of databases (SQL) and data validation techniquesUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesTechnical Qualifications & ExperiencePayments domain knowledge – Authorization → Clearing → Settlement → ReconciliationProficient in Agile/Scrum frameworks, with experience using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.Familiarity with defect tracking & test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr and writing clear bug reports and maintaining test casesCertification in software testing (ISTQB) or payments domain is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
