Senior Oracle Developer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Oracle Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our Oracle-based solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance database applications and ensure data integrity, security, and reliability across all environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize Oracle database schemas, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to support business requirements.Lead complex data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization to meet SLA targets.Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.Implement data migration, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality controls.Establish and enforce database standards, best practices, and governance across development, testing, and production environments.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement lasting fixes.Mentor junior developers, review code, and contribute to architectural decisions and design reviews.Ensure security, backup, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies are implemented and tested.Required Qualifications5-9 years of experience in Oracle database developmentPreferred QualificationsOracle Database 12c/19c/21c administration and development experienceExperience with Oracle APEX, SQL Developer, and performance tuning toolsStrong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, indexing, partitioning, and SQL plan managementFamiliarity with Oracle GoldenGate or other data replication technologiesExperience with cloud-based Oracle deployments (OCI, AWS RDS for Oracle) is a plusPrevious experience in financial services, healthcare, or large-scale enterprise systems is a plusSkills And CompetenciesAdvanced problem-solving and analytical abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong collaboration and cross-functional teamworkTime management and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAttention to detail and commitment to qualityEducation and CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldOracle Database certification (OCA/OCP) preferredAdditional certifications in SQL, data modeling, or cloud platforms are a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
