Senior Oracle DBA (with Flexcube & Data Migration Expertise)

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle database design, performance tuning, high availability, and large-scale data migration initiatives. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on exposure to Oracle Flexcube (Core Banking) and experience working on enterprise data migration projects, preferably within the banking and financial services domain.You will be responsible for managing production and non‑production databases, supporting data movement between legacy systems and Oracle Flexcube, ensuring security, performance, integrity, and high availability of database environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDatabase AdministrationInstall, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases (12c/19c/21c) in high‑availability environments (RAC, Data Guard, ASM).Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, space management, backup/recovery planning, and disaster recovery setup.Manage and automate database monitoring, alerting, and health checks.Data Migration & Flexcube ProjectsLead end‑to‑end data migration execution from legacy core banking systems to Oracle Flexcube (Retail/Corporate banking).Work closely with Flexcube technical consultants and business SMEs to map source‑to‑target data definitions.Execute data profiling, cleansing, transformation logic (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.Generate data migration scripts and manage mock runs, UAT cycles, and final cutover.Security & ComplianceImplement database security, user access, encryption, auditing, and compliance with banking security policies and regulatory standards.Ensure proper backup/restore mechanisms using RMAN and implement DR strategy.Collaboration & ReportingCollaborate with cross‑functional project teams—DBA, Infra, Flexcube, Business Analysts.Prepare detailed technical documentation, migration runbooks, configuration docs, and status reports.Provide go‑live support and post‑migration hypercare.Required Skills & Technical ExpertiseStrong Oracle DBA experience (8+ years) in production environments.Hands‑on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, OEM/Cloud Control.Strong SQL and PL/SQL scripting and performance tuning skills.Experience with data migration methodologies, ETL tools, SQL Loader, or custom migration frameworks.Knowledge of Oracle Flexcube technical architecture, data model, tables, and integration touchpoints.Hands‑on experience working in core banking / financial institutions is highly preferred.Nice-to-Have SkillsExposure to OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) or cloud migrations.Experience with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) or Informatica for migration projects.Knowledge of APIs, web services, and integration frameworks used with Flexcube.Banking domain understanding (Accounts, Loans, CIF, GL, Payments, etc.).#J-18808-Ljbffr
