Senior OR&A Engineer: Operations Readiness&Assurance

The role supports safe, reliable, and efficient transition of projects into operations by implementing OR&A processes, risk management, and compliance with industry standards.</p><p><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>We are hiring a Senior Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A) to be based in Abu Dhabi with strong Oil&Gas projects experience from design through commissioning and start-up. The role supports safe, reliable, and efficient transition of projects into operations by implementing OR&A processes, risk management, and compliance with industry standards.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead and implement Operations Readiness&Assurance (OR&A) activities across project phases.</li><li>Review engineering deliverables to ensure operability, maintainability, and safety compliance.</li><li>Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams.</li><li>Develop and review operating procedures, maintenance strategies, and training plans.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, SIMOPS, etc.) and readiness reviews.</li><li>Support commissioning, start-up, and handover to Operations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualification Required.<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is Mandatory.</li><li>Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the similar role.</li><li>Strong experience in OR&A, commissioning, start-up, and operational risk management.</li><li>Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ISO, IEC, etc.).</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.<br><br></li></ul>Job Details<br><br>Role Level: Not Applicable Work Type: Full-Time Country: United Arab Emirates City: Abu Dhabi Company Website: http://www.penspen.com Job Function: Information Technology (IT) Company Industry/<br><br>Sector: Professional Services<br><br>What We Offer<br><br><strong>About The Company<br><br></strong>Searching, interviewing and hiring are all part of the professional life.
