Job Description As a Sales Representative at Abbott Nutrition, your role is crucial in contributing to the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products in the territory. Your primary focus will be to increase awareness among Health Care Professionals about the important role of nutrition in improving the quality of life and demonstrate the superiority of Abbott products compared to competitor brands. By implementing a multichannel customer engagement strategy, you will aim to gain new business and foster growth with existing customers, ultimately building HCP confidence and loyalty to Abbott brand products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand the market and category opportunities within the territory to identify areas for market share growth at the customer/account level. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge about medical and nutritional science, evolving healthcare trends, and emerging digital technologies to effectively educate a wide network of HCPs about Abbott products. - Develop and execute multichannel customer engagement plans to drive demand for Abbott brand products and increase market share. - Utilize customer segmentation data to inform engagement and account management strategies. - Cultivate strong relationships with HCPs at various levels within customer accounts to expand the customer network. - Secure commitment from HCPs to recommend Abbott products by highlighting the role of nutrition in patient quality of life and the benefits of Abbott products through consultative selling dialogues. - Deliver a unique value proposition from the HCPs' perspective by understanding their needs and priorities through various engagement activities. - Conduct consultative sales calls to expand HCPs' knowledge of nutritional interventions and the benefits of Abbott products, address objections, and gain recommendations for Abbott products. - Establish target customers and develop customer plans to achieve coverage, frequency, and call rate objectives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient education on nutrition and Abbott brands, influence customer and patient choice, and ensure a consistent customer engagement experience. - Measure progress against customer and account objectives, taking necessary actions to meet targets and KPIs as assigned. **Qualifications Required:** - Graduate in any field with a major in Medicine, Science, Pharmaceuticals, or Nutrition. - Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in the Pharma/Nutrition Industry. - Excellent product knowledge and ability to translate it into effective in-clinic performance. - Good understanding of nutrition science. - Proven ability to establish connections, develop relationships, and collaborate effectively. - Strong numerical skills and a team player mindset.
