Senior .NET Software Developer

Job Description Role Overview: As a Software Development Advisor at NTT DATA in Chennai, Tamil Ndu (IN-TN), India, you will report to the IT Application Manager and be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and support of new and existing applications. You will work as a Senior .NET Developer in an agile team focusing on developing and maintaining features for a suite of sites and services hosted on AWS cloud. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Product and BA teams to understand and evaluate business requirements - Work with other developers to create technical designs and develop well-documented, testable, secure, and scalable code - Participate in support rotations to monitor and resolve application issues - Participate in project planning sessions, design reviews, and code reviews - Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules - Prepare unit and integration test plans for program changes - Work cross-functionally with other team members such as engineers, testers, product owners, and designers - Partner with QA, DB, BA/PO, and other dependent teams - Adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques utilizing programming skills Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - 5+ years of experience in software development following Agile and/or Waterfall methodology - Recent hands-on experience in C#, .Net, Asp. Net Core & Web API, and related Microsoft technologies - Understanding and experience in EDI, SOLID design principles, and software development best practices - Experience working on high volume large-scale applications - Familiarity with ORM frameworks, Cloud Native Architecture, and modern application practices - Expertise in one or more areas like User Interface Tier, Application/Middle Tier, and Database Tier - Desirable skills include production support experience, ETL experience, knowledge of Application/Software Security, AWS, Containers, Mulesoft, and Serverless Components Additional Company Details: NTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
