Senior MetaTrader Developer

OverviewWe are looking for a Senior MetaTrader developer with strong, hands-on experience working with MT4 and MT5 trading environments at a system level. This role is highly technical and suited to someone who has built, integrated, or customised MetaTrader plugins, worked extensively with the Manager API, and understands how trading infrastructure operates behind the scenes at a brokerage.You will be involved in designing and supporting end-to-end trading infrastructure, including liquidity bridges, execution flows, risk and monitoring systems, and integrations with external liquidity providers. A solid understanding of latency-sensitive architectures and how performance, stability, and execution quality impact trading outcomes is essential.Location: Hybrid - Dubai or Remote - IndiaResponsibilitiesAs a Senior MetaTrader Developer, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:MetaTrader Development & IntegrationDesign, develop, and maintain MT4/MT5 plugins, gateways, and custom server-side solutions.Build, integrate, and support services using the MetaTrader Manager API and Admin API.Develop real-time components for trade execution monitoring, account management, risk controls, and reporting.Trading Infrastructure & Liquidity ConnectivityImplement and support bridge integrations with liquidity providers, prime brokers, ECNs, and aggregators.Manage the full order lifecycle, including execution models, routing logic, and risk flows.Optimise execution routing, pricing feeds, symbol configurations, and trade flow stability.Performance, Latency & System StabilityDesign and maintain low-latency, high-availability trading services.Analyse and optimise execution latency, price feed delays, and bridge performance.Troubleshoot and resolve live trading and production issues in real-time environments.Trading Logic & Functional OwnershipCollaborate closely with dealing and risk teams on margin logic, swaps, commissions, and automation rules.Translate business and trading requirements into robust technical implementations.Operations, Support & GovernanceProvide 2nd and 3rd line support for MT4/MT5 production environments.Produce and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.Support audit processes and regulatory initiatives when required.RequirementsMetaTrader ExpertiseStrong knowledge of MT4 & MT5 server architectureHands-on experience with Manager API and Admin APIDevelopment of custom server plugins and gatewaysTrading Systems & Domain KnowledgeDeep understanding of Forex / CFD brokerage environmentsExperience with liquidity bridges and aggregationStrong grasp of trading mechanics and terminologyLatency, Connectivity & DataExperience building low-latency systemsFamiliarity with FIX connectivity conceptsReal-time data processing and messaging systemsProgramming & SystemsProficiency in C++ (must-have), C# (nice-to-have)Experience with multithreading and distributed systemsWorking knowledge of trading databasesExperience Requirements5+ years in a trading systems or brokerage infrastructure roleProven experience supporting production MetaTrader environmentsStrong background working with live trading infrastructureWhat’s in it for you?Our client offers an exciting, challenging role in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
