Senior Manager TM Uptake Management

<div><p>The Senior Manager TM Uptake Management will report to Director TM Uptake Management.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Leading and managing the team in TM Uptake Management Middle East, based in Dubai.</li><li>Responsible for optimization of vessel/voyage utilization on designated services and trades based on commercial guidelines.</li><li>Maintain close collaboration and cooperation with Regional Commercial, Regional Operations, Area Commercial Steering, Customer Service / GCC and Cargo Operations.</li><li>Analyse optimization potential and costs and work on proposals together with TM Pricing&Steering.</li><li>Ensure adherence to global processes and guidelines within the team.</li><li>Regular exchange with other team leads on best practices and expertise.</li><li>Regular evaluation of system and process knowledge of the team members, coordination of training requirements with the Director TM Uptake Management.</li><li>Initiate FIS Allocation Management development needs, participate in projects and roll-out.</li><li>Organize working time requirements and workload in the teams and appropriate distribution of services, as well as back-up or replacement arrangements.</li><li>Alignment on team relevant topics with all stakeholders.</li><li>Point of entry for general trade related issues.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Degree in Shipping, Transportation or related discipline.</li><li>Several years of experience in liner shipping/ transportation industry.</li><li>Operational background and Commercial Steering experience welcome.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge about HL applications (FIS, Qlikview, Qliksense).</li><li>Analytical, methodical and efficient working style.</li><li>Open minded personality with strong communication skills.</li><li>Experience in dealing with different stakeholder groups.</li><li>Team player with high ability to communicate.</li><li>Ability to lead a team and to implement new concepts and structures.</li><li>Knowledge about Hapag-Lloyd’s global product offering (Network&Partners).</li><li>Excellent and proficient command of spoken and written English language.</li></ul><h3>We offer</h3><ul><li>Tax free salary&bonus payments</li><li>30 working days of annual leave</li><li>Flexible working hours and hybrid work model</li><li>Medical insurance for employee&eligible dependants (spouse&children)</li><li>A diverse and multi-cultural working environment</li></ul><h3>About Us</h3><p>With a fleet of 313 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.5 million TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies.
