Job Description

<div><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>The incumbent will be responsible for supporting M&A strategy, evaluating potential targets, leading key stages of transactions, preparing investment proposals, and overseeing post-merger integration to ensure strategic objectives are achieved.</p><h3>Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Support the development and refinement of the company’s M&A strategy, aligning with Beeah’s overall business goals and identifying potential acquisition targets or merger partners.</li><li>Assist in various stages of the M&A process, including initial screening of potential targets, transaction closing, and post-merger integration.</li><li>Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities for potential M&A activities.</li><li>Evaluate financial statements, business models, and market positioning of potential targets.</li><li>Develop financial models and valuation analyses to assess the financial impact of potential acquisitions or mergers.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and business cases for senior management and board review.</li><li>Prepare reports on the progress of M&A activities and present findings to Mergers&Acquisitions Manager.</li><li>Monitor post-merger integration activities to ensure that synergies and strategic objectives are achieved.</li><li>Analysis of JVs and subsidiaries financial statement post-acquisition and highlight the management for any major concerns&risks.</li><li>Provide support in negotiation and due diligence processes, including coordinating with external consultants and advisors.</li><li>Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to M&A activities and integration efforts.</li></ul><h3>Strategic Contribution</h3><ul><li>Ensure effective cascading of the divisional strategy into sectional business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing strategies.</li></ul><h3>People Management</h3><ul><li>Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the assigned section by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximize sectional performance.</li><li>Lead the talent development initiatives for the assigned section, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensuring the availability of talent to fit business requirements.</li></ul><h3>Budgeting and Financial Planning</h3><ul><li>Manage the preparation and recommend the sectional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectional activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.</li></ul><h3>Policies, Systems, Processes&Procedures</h3><ul><li>Develop and lead the implementation of department policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned function so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.</li></ul><h3>Continuous Improvement</h3><ul><li>Lead the management of change through continuous improvement of department systems, processes and practices taking into account global standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.</li></ul><h3>Reporting</h3><ul><li>Ensure that all department reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet management requirements, policies and quality standards.</li></ul><h3>Experience&Qualification</h3><ul><li>Bachelors in economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.</li><li>8 – 10 years' experience in large companies, including at least 4 years as a manager role.</li><li>Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership skills.</li><li>Knowledge of energy, power, or water sectors.</li><li>Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural team leadership.</li></ul><h3>Knowledge&Skills</h3><ul><li>Strategic Thinking</li><li>Financial Analysis</li><li>Negotiation Skills</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
