Senior Manager - Data Platform and Engineering (Emirati)

For our client, a leading organization in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking an Emirati Senior Manager - Data Platform and Engineering to oversee enterprise applications and database environments, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and system availability.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the implementation, configuration, and administration of applications and databases (Oracle & SQL Server).Plan and optimize IT infrastructure capacity including servers and database performance.Monitor database performance and manage backup, restoration, RAC, and clustering with the infrastructure team.Install patches, manage system changes, and ensure data integrity and system availability.Troubleshoot database and application issues and resolve incidents within SLAs.Liaise with third-party vendors for OS and server management.Maintain application and database lifecycle, documentation, and licensing.Support internal teams and coordinate security and data recovery activities.Requirements10+ years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA working with Oracle technologies, RAC, and DMZ.2+ years of managerial experience.Experience managing Oracle E-Business Suite and enterprise deployments.Knowledge of application integrations and enterprise application environments.Experience in real estate or retail sectors is preferred.Strong communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.Must be an EmiratiQualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent.Oracle Database certification preferred.All Emiratis fulfilling the requirements are encouraged to apply.
