You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail‑oriented teammates. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and driving successful outcomes in large‑scale and complex infrastructure projects. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, provide strategic legal support on public tenders and government procurement processes, and lead negotiations with clients and partners, and much more.</p><h3>We’ll Look To You For</h3><ul><li>Leading legal aspects of public tenders, government procurement processes, and competitive bids in the Middle East to ensure compliance with procurement laws and tender regulations</li><li>Providing strategic legal support to teams on large‑scale and complex projects, including risk allocation, structuring, and contractual strategy</li><li>Taking full ownership of PPP projects from the bid stage through financial closing</li><li>Structuring, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating high‑value contracts (e.g., D&B contracts, consortium agreements)</li><li>Advising on risk assessment and mitigation strategies from bid preparation until contract signature</li><li>Leading negotiations with clients and partners</li><li>Supporting claims strategy in coordination with Contract Management teams and managing disputes in collaboration with external lawyers</li><li>Handling corporate law matters</li><li>Promoting Alstom’s Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct</li><li>Providing training on Legal, Ethics&Compliance, and competition law</li></ul><h3>All About You</h3><ul><li>Degree in Law, specializing in Business Law (Master II)</li><li>Experience or understanding of public procurement processes and government tenders</li><li>Knowledge of international complex and infrastructure projects</li><li>Familiarity with drafting and negotiating high‑value contracts, including D&B and consortium agreements</li><li>Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Fluent English communication skills</li><li>Ability to assess and mitigate legal risks in complex projects</li><li>Experience in managing disputes and working with external legal counsel</li><li>Understanding of corporate law matters</li><li>Knowledge of PPP (Public‑Private Partnership) processes</li></ul><h3>Things you’ll enjoy</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues</li><li>Work with public tenders, government procurement processes, and complex international infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with procurement laws and tender regulations</li><li>Progress towards becoming a key strategic legal advisor on high‑value, complex projects, while enhancing your expertise in risk assessment, contractual strategy, and dispute management</li><li>Utilise our inclusive and dynamic working environment that fosters leadership, resilience, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset</li><li>Contribute to innovative projects</li><li>Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries</li><li>Benefit from our investment in your development, through award‑winning learning</li><li>Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage</li></ul><h3>Important to note</h3><p>As a global business, we’re an equal‑opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in.
