Summary/Objective:We need to find a highly skilled Legal Counsel to manage the legal elements of our company. You will protect our brand by ensuring that the company adheres meticulously to legal norms and providing management with legal counsel on all pertinent matters. In addition, you will ensure that the company complies with all laws.If you are successful in your application, you will effectively ensure legal conformance and limit the likelihood of exposure.Essential Functions:Promptly advise executives on a wide range of legal issues (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance, etc.)Coordinate with upper management to create effective countermeasuresSpecify internal governance policies and frequently monitor complianceStudy and assess the various dangers that can affect corporate choices and daily operationsUse sound methods of risk management and provide preventative counsel regarding potential legal issuesCommunicate and negotiate with other parties (regulators, external counsel, public authorities, etc.) developing relations of trustDraft and strengthen agreements, contracts, and other legal papers to protect the company's full legal rightsHandle complicated issues involving a wide variety of people and factorsProvide clarity on legal wording or standards to everyone in the organization, conduct your work with integrity and responsibilityStay abreast of any changes to the lawCompetencies:Critical thinker with excellent analytical and research skillsCompetent in analyzing and interpreting market trends and the actions of competitorsYou must have experience with business and corporate lawProjects in regulated industries must have been done beforeIt would be a plus if you had more qualifications and specialized knowledge in banking, financial services, capital markets, competition law, or real estateStrong written and spoken English and Bulgarian communication skills are a mustHaving the ability to speak German would be a plusStrong skills in analyzing, working in a team, and organizingSelf-motivated and optimisticThe desire to learnFocus on the details and a commitment to accuracy and high qualityRequired Education and Experience:BSc degree in Law or J.D. degreeMA or BSc in Business Administration will be considered an advantageProficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and web editing packagesSupervisory Responsibility:This role has supervisory responsibilitiesWork Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment.
