Job Description As a Senior Legal Associate Paralegal, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities to support the legal department and ensure compliance with organizational and legal standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents using tools like DocuSign, ContractWorks, or Clio. - Utilize contract management tools to streamline workflows, track contract lifecycles, and ensure compliance with standards. - Maintain and update contract databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of all contract-related data. - Identify and mitigate risks in contract terms by collaborating with legal counsel and stakeholders. - Conduct legal research and manage litigation documents using e-discovery tools like Relativity, Logikcull, or Adapt. - Manage client communications professionally, maintaining confidentiality and fostering strong relationships. - Coordinate virtual meetings with US clients, ensuring alignment with their time zones and expectations. - Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those relevant to US jurisdictions. - Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Westlaw, LexisNexis, or Bloomberg Law to support case strategies and client deliverables. - Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the organization's operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Legal Studies. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal. - Proven experience in contract management, litigation support, and handling US-based clients. **Technical Skills:** - Proficiency in contract management tools like DocuSign, ContractWorks, Clio. - Experience with e-discovery and litigation management platforms such as Relativity, Logikcull. - Expertise in legal research tools like Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law. - Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. **Soft Skills:** - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting professionally with US clients and internal stakeholders. - Strong organizational and time-management skills for prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines. - High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
