The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of master planning, urban design, and landscape projects. The role requires a balance of design creativity, technical knowledge, and familiarity with local authority processes.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design and delivery of urban design and master planning projects.Support landscape design tasks, including site analysis, concept development, and integration with urban frameworks.Prepare design drawings, reports, and visual presentations to effectively communicate ideas.Efficient in report writing and related graphics.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and landscape teams to develop integrated and sustainable design solutions.Conduct research, benchmarking, and precedent studies to inform project development.Ensure all work complies with UAE authority codes, standards, and submission requirements.Stay updated on emerging design trends and technologies, applying them where relevant.RequirementsDegree in Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or related field.Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with strong exposure to projects in the UAE/Middle East.Strong urban design and landscape design skills, with the ability to integrate both disciplines.Proficiency in design and visualization tools (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Revit, or GIS).Good understanding of master planning regulations and approval processes in the UAE.Excellent graphic, hand sketching, and presentation skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.Proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high‑quality design outcomes.EEO StatementAt GHD, we celebrate the power of a multicultural workforce and champion individual achievement.
