DescriptionRole: Senior IT Procurement OfficerLocation: Abu Dhabi UAEJob DescriptionTo manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle related to Information Technology Department.Role PurposeAct as Senior Buyer for IT category.Key Accountabilities of the roleIT Procurement & Vendor ManagementReceives RFQs/RFPs from IT requester, solicits proposals from vendors, vendor communication and negotiation.Attending meeting with senior stakeholder and vendors.Prepare procurement plan with end users.Create contract for all engagements and negotiate terms & conditions with vendors.PO creation and issuance to vendors for execution and delivery.Coordinator between IT and VMCP for vendor registration, vendor account updating, etc.Initiate SPM for all engagements.Ensure closing all open POs.Support vendors for pending payment by coordinating with requester and FCD.Ensure the best utilization of SAP Ariba (RFP, Contract Workspace, Reverse Auction).Ensures to always maintain proper and intact vendor communication.Fully adhere to VMCP P&P and support line manager in closing audit point.Work as SME to provide suggestion to enhance the process and to achieve savings.All IT-related procurement requests should be accommodated in a timely manner in order to avoid delay.Acting as a SME in all meetings / deals with internal and external stakeholders.Proper vendor communication should be well-maintained.Financial & Contract Approval ManagementLead contract drafting review and execution with internal and external stakeholders.Maintains and monitors Contract Database.Ensures proper archiving of procurement file.Special TasksProvide assistance to all internal customers (other categories managed by VMCP) perform other tasks as required (attend meetings, attend calls, prepare reports, etc.).To ensure that good controls are maintained in all department-related functions and ensure that the Department Head is aware of all issues raised within the department.Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this roleMust have IT procurement experience or IT by profession.Previous experiencePreferred CIPS qualified or having active membership.Banking experience is preferred.Required ExperienceSenior IC#J-18808-Ljbffr
