Senior IT Engineer

JOB PURPOSEResponsible for managing and supervise the operations of company's IT department and solving any problems that may occur.Scrutinizing the existing practices and procedures of every department and work directly with the senior management to define system requirements.Design and propose solutions, configure the software and train employees.Analyze customer needs and providing solutions for complex technical issues.Creating and presenting technical documentation to support projects.Providing guidance and advice to junior engineers.Conducting research on new technologies and products.Overseeing and negotiating projects and products with customers and vendors.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESTo monitor the setup of workstations, diagnose, repair and maintain hardware and software components to ensure the smooth running of computer systems.Oversee the setup of workstations with computer and network connectivity for new employees;Administer user login and email accounts;Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring employees from completing their work.To maintain Server, Virtual Machines and End point security and implementing automated patch update services and data security controls like encryption.Work on servers, Endpoints and Handheld devices Hardening by implementing Hardening Policies.Securing Network by a VPN and connecting remote offices to access the company databasesLead and drive in developing new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve employee satisfaction.Follows emergency plans for equipment, power, or security failures when necessary and protects data and security.To liaise and coordinate with all departments and identify computer or network equipment shortages, take quotations from different vendors and place orders after the approval.To oversee local and wide area network.Hosting various applications on cloud via Cloud Computing.To make the network physically segregated and make network clear access control and segregation architecture.To Support ERP system for different departments of organization such as Human Resources Management, Supply Management, Finance and Payroll, Employee Relationship Management, Inventory, Purchase, etc. by analyzing business environment flow and processes of each department and propose best compatible solutions accordingly.Help the management to generate reports on different activities and operations of each department.#J-18808-Ljbffr
