Job Description As a Senior IT Cost and Contracts Manager at HSBC, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: Provide Senior Management with appropriately presented reports and analysis, utilizing high-level data analysis and presentation skills to convey complex information in a clear format. Develop and automate reports, including dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs using tools like Qlik and other relevant software. Ensure accuracy and integrity of reports and analysis by transforming raw data into actionable insights that support decision-making. Utilize expertise in various tools and systems to support the implementation and optimization of reporting systems. Uphold reporting and data governance standards by following data protocols and organizational procedures. Document data sources, reporting processes, and methodologies while providing training and support to end-users on reporting tools and dashboards. Identify solutions for process improvements and enhance efficiencies in working practices. Understand Technology Costs, Benefits, and Contracts Management processes. Demonstrate proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and senior stakeholder management skills. Desirable to possess knowledge of IT suppliers and contracts, including an understanding of technical platforms, IT Vendor Management policy, and the global IT operating model. Support individual and team growth through training and personal development avenues. To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or demonstrable experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 12 years of experience in cost and commercial management, including cost reduction / optimization programs. Good understanding of procurement sourcing & category management principles and operations. Awareness of IT Infrastructure technical platforms / technologies and execution of IT vendor management policies. Familiarity with the IT global delivery model and future roadmap. Ability to work in a multi-geography, culturally diverse, and time-zone separated management role. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
