About the job Senior Investment SupervisorPosition BriefThe Senior Investment Supervisor is responsible to manage the delivery of a robust client asset management and investment plan which clearly supports delivery of the Asset Management (AM) Strategy.Functional ResponsibilitiesAssist the team members to deliver group objectivesProvide expert guidance, monitor and control changes to the client planning and investment strategies and plansSupport the development and implementation of new Planning and Investment methods and technologies by providing specialist technical intervention and audit supportAssist in the communication to Section Heads and Managers the importance and relevance of AM plans to delivery of Client VisionSupport the section and department in emergency management such as rainy season activities including attendance at Emergency Control Centre (ECC) and/or siteSupport the regular team meetings to engage staff with changes taking place and ensure relevant business performance information and expectations are sharedAdhere to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures in the workplace and comply to any new work instructionsProvide professional advice, expertise and practical assistance to client in all tendering / contractual matters during the tendering and procurement stage.Review of pre-tender documentation including all required pre-approvals, tender plan form, BOQ, SOW and draft tender volumes, Ensure that all embedded information are in line with PWA regulations and procedures.Perform other duties / tasks as requiredQualification:Minimum Bachelors Degree in relevant disciplineHolder of Accreditation from relevant professional bodies or similar would be an advantageHolder of current/valid Qatar Driving License would be an advantageExperience:Minimum 10 years of cumulative experience in a relevant fieldExperience within the Utilities Sector, working within a management roleExperience of working with Asset Management planning and investment policies, procedures and regulationsIn depth knowledge in Asset Management planning and investment policies, procedures and regulations; undertake wide range of investment activitiesAbility to understand and manage investment processExperience of working and mapping the risk to investment; knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and in particular Microsoft Excel 2010Ability to influence and engage with staff at all levels within the OrganisationAbility to communicate verbally and in writing in English is mandatory.Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic will be an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
