You can experience a world of opportunity and the chance to shape a career as unique as you.</p><p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydrogeology Engineer (6 to 10+ years of experience) to lead groundwater projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality hydrogeological assessments and groundwater control solutions.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>Project&Team Management</p><ul><li>Manage project delivery, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.</li><li>Lead coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight and quality assurance.</li><li>Contribute to proposals and business development initiatives.</li></ul><p>Technical Leadership</p><ul><li>Lead hydrogeological groundwater assessments, including evaluation of groundwater rise and long-term impacts on infrastructure.</li><li>Interpret and review packer tests, falling/rising head tests, and pumping test data to assess aquifer parameters, safe yield, and well performance.</li><li>Develop, calibrate, and review 3D groundwater flow and solute transport models (MODFLOW, MT3DMS, GMS, FEFLOW, or equivalent).</li><li>Perform water balance and mass balance assessments to support sustainable groundwater management.</li><li>Apply GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) and Python/FloPy to enhance data analysis, visualization, and modelling workflows.</li></ul><p>Dewatering&Groundwater Control</p><ul><li>Lead the design and review of construction dewatering systems and long-term groundwater control solutions.</li><li>Prepare and oversee design calculations, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documentation.</li><li>Develop and review hydrogeological reports, dewatering plans, and groundwater impact assessments.</li></ul><p>Mining-Specific Expertise</p><ul><li>Experience in mining hydrogeology, including open-pit and underground operations, is highly desirable.</li><li>Conduct hydrogeological assessments for mineral extraction projects, including ore body dewatering, groundwater flow modelling and feasibility studies, risk assessment studies, and TSF subsurface water management design.</li><li>Advise on long-term mine water management, recharge and discharge strategies, and integration with local water resources.</li><li>Support closure and post-mining groundwater management planning.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Strong leadership, project management, and client-facing experience.</li><li>Proven ability to manage teams and deliver complex groundwater projects successfully.</li><li>6 to 10 years of experience in hydrogeological engineering, groundwater modelling, and dewatering design.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hydrogeology, Civil Engineering (Water Resources), or related field.</li></ul><p>Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
