Job Title - Safety Manager (Pump Station Rehabilitation Project)Project Value - AED 800 MillionSalary - From AED 35,000 per month (Negotiable for the right candidate)About the RoleThis is a high-value, high-risk infrastructure project involving complex refurbishment works within an operational environment. The successful candidate will take full ownership of project HSE performance, leading a dedicated team of approximately 10 HSE professionals and interfacing directly with senior project leadership and client stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and full accountability for HSE performance across the projectDevelop, implement and continuously improve the project-specific HSE Management Plan in line with UAE regulations and international standardsLead and manage a team of HSE Engineers, Officers and Advisors (approx. 10 personnel)Ensure full compliance with ADOSH/ADPHC frameworks, client requirements and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standardsDrive a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, behavioural initiatives and workforce engagementOversee risk management processes including HAZID, risk assessments, MSRAs and Critical Control Verification (CCV)Manage all high-risk activities including confined space entry, lifting operations, electrical works, excavation and live plant interfaceAct as the primary point of contact for client HSE representatives, consultants and regulatory authoritiesCandidate RequirementsMinimum 10–15 years’ HSE experience within large-scale infrastructure, utilities or construction projectsProven experience as a lead HSE Manager on major projects (AED 300M+ preferred)Mandatory experience working on pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, or similar utility infrastructureStrong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations (ADOSH / ADPHC frameworks)Professional certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) - essentialDemonstrated experience leading and managing HSE teams on complex projectsStrong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive behavioural changeExperience working in live operational environments and managing interface risksExcellent communication and reporting skillsWhat We’re Looking ForA hands-on leader - not a clipboard managerSomeone who can challenge poor behaviours at senior levelProven ability to take control of underperforming projects and turn HSE performance aroundAdditional InformationThis role is open to both local and international candidatesExperience within international contractor environments and multi-cultural project teams will be highly regardedCompetitive package including salary uplift for exceptional candidates with proven major project delivery#J-18808-Ljbffr
