Senior HSE Inspector

<div><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are looking for an experienced<b>Senior HSE Inspector</b>to support HSE supervision activities on major infrastructure and utility projects in<b>Jeddah</b>. Candidates must have strong consultant supervision experience and a proven track record in enforcing HSE standards on active construction sites.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Carry out daily site safety inspections to ensure compliance with approved HSE plans, method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.</li><li>Monitor contractor activities and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all phases of construction.</li><li>Lead investigation of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, issuing corrective and preventive measures.</li><li>Review contractor HSE documentation, including toolbox talks, emergency response plans, and audit reports.</li><li>Verify PPE usage, workforce training records, and HSE competency certifications.</li><li>Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, HSE statistics, and weekly/monthly KPI reports for client submission.</li><li>Conduct HSE audits and participate in emergency drills and safety meetings.</li><li>Coordinate with project management, consultants, contractors, and local authorities on HSE compliance matters.</li><li>Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure continuous improvement across all project teams.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.</li><li>5–10 years of HSE experience, with at least 3–5 years in consultant supervision.</li><li>HSE certification: NEBOSH IGC (mandatory). Additional HSE training/certifications will be an advantage.</li><li>Solid knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations, municipal safety standards, and international HSE management systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / OSHA).</li><li>Previous experience on utility, road, pipeline, or infrastructure projects within KSA is preferred.</li><li>Strong communication, reporting, and inspection skills.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
