Senior HSE Engineer (Project) - Offshore

Penspen is urgently looking to hire a Specialist / Senior HSE Engineer (Project – Offshore) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.QualificationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Sciences.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) aspects of offshore projects, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across all project phases.Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk management strategies.Conduct hazard identification (HAZID), risk assessments, and safety studies for offshore construction and operations.Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, OHSAS, API, IMO), and company HSE policies.Supervise offshore HSE activities during construction, installation, and commissioning.Organize HSE induction, training, and competency programs for offshore personnel.Coordinate with construction, mechanical, electrical, and marine teams to ensure safe execution of activities.Develop and maintain emergency response plans for offshore operations.Lead emergency drills and evaluate effectiveness of response procedures.Prepare HSE performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management review.Maintain records of audits, inspections, and incident investigations.ExperienceMinimum 15 to 18+ years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore projects.Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (preferred).Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Mechanical Construction background.Previous ADNOC Offshore experience is an advantage.Seniority Level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: Professional ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Penspen by 2x.#J-18808-Ljbffr
