Join us.Job SummaryThe Highways Senior Design Engineer shall be literate in CAD, Civil 3D, and AutoTURN latest versions and shall have the following skills:ResponsibilitiesManaging the design projects independently to deliver on time and within the budgetPreparation of scope of works and design criteriaAdopt QA/QC checking procedures as per company policy to ensure sound and coordinated design both internally and across other disciplinesConceptualization of road networks, junctions and interchanges based on traffic analysis recommendations for public and private projectsHave full proficiency and experience in the design of Roads using Civil3D and AutoCad (plans, profiles and grading)Design of junctions (Roundabouts, priority junctions, signalized junctions) both horizontally and vertically development of site gradingPreparation of road cross sections, generating earthwork quantitiesPreparation of concept and detailed design of interchangesDesign and preparation of road markings and traffic signages drawingsProvide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, and road design engineersPrepare the schedule and plan the works for completing within the timelines and allotted budgetsHave good experience in the BIM modelling of the projectsShould be able to interact effectively with clients regarding technical mattersPreparation of PowerPoint presentations and progress reportsSound communication and writing skills along with preparing technical reportsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Good working knowledge of Civil3D, AutoTURN and AutoCadMinimum of 10 years of experienceUnderstanding of engineering standards, codes of practice and local authorities' guidelines in Abu Dhabi.
