Within this prestigious portfolio are iconic names such as Bloomingdale's, Harvey Nichols, and Armani, among others.Aveda Salon operates under the globally recognized Aveda brand, known for its high-performance, plant-based products and commitment to sustainability, wellness, and holistic beauty.At Aveda Salon, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through expert consultation, personalized services, and a strong focus on care, innovation, and environmental responsibility.Job PurposeTo provide hair care services to enhance the appearance of customers, so that they will look and feel their bestResponsibilitiesFunctional Roles and ResponsibilitiesIdentify the needs of the customer and recommend a range of styles / services/ products that are appropriateConsult and provide inputs at every stage of the styling process, i.e. advising on the colour, style, hair type, treatments, etc.Cut, trim and style the hair of customersProvide hair coloration services ranging from basic to artistic colorations and highlightsDo permanent straightening / wave using specialized productsMaintain relationships with key customers and records of what has been used for them such as hair color shade or permanent wave formulaStay up to date on the latest styles / trends. Also have in-depth knowledge of the products that are used or for sale in the salonMaintain personal grooming standards and the cleanliness and hygiene of the salon at all timesCoordinate with receptionists to have maximum number of appointments per dayGuide and supervise the hair and salon assistants to ensure that they maintain the salon‘s standardsQualificationsEducation/Certification and Continued EducationHigh school qualificationFormal hair dressing qualification (City & Guilds Level 2)Years of Experience3-4 years of hair cutting experience in a reputable salonKnowledge and SkillsA passion for hair dressing, style and trendsPleasant personality and good groomingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
