Job Description
Job PurposeManage and support the development and implementation of a proactive investor relations strategy and related engagement plans and programmes, in line with business needs, to ensure investors are aware of and understand ADNOC’s business and investment strategy. Assist and support any ADNOC equity and debt raising activities and ensure ADNOC’s investor profile and reputation is enhanced across the global business, finance community and key stakeholders.Key AccountabilitiesJob Specific: Investor Relations Strategy, Engagement Plans and InitiativesManage and lead the development of a proactive ADNOC investor strategy and related engagement plans, implement them, and enhance engagement with existing and new shareholders, debt providers and joint venture partners.Stakeholder Management:Engage with the global and regional financial and investment community, including key stakeholders in the equity and debt capital markets and the private institutional markets, to contribute to domestic and international ADNOC investments, co‑investments and other capital raisings.Engage with target stakeholders such as large trading houses, international pension funds, banks, private equity investors and global infrastructure specialists—particularly in ADNOC’s key geographic markets—to build a sustainable network for capital attraction and structuring.Stay updated on the latest industry developments and collect relevant industry peers’ data to provide the Investor Relations team with comprehensive information.Oversee analyst work, including updates on the company’s stock price, trading volumes, analysts’ forecasts, investor feedback, and similar data of industry peers for performance reporting and benchmarking. Perform research and analyses on current trends in global and regional equity capital markets, debt capital markets, trading trends and private institutional markets.Generic:Supervision: Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives. Train and develop staff to enable proficiency and deliver section objectives.Budgets: Provide input for preparation of budgets, assist in implementation of the approved budget, investigate and highlight significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures: Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures to support execution of work programs in line with company and international standards.Performance Management: Contribute to the achievement of approved performance objectives for the function in line with the company performance framework.Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes. Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices to define intelligent solutions.Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability: Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards and ADNOC Code of Practices.Reports: Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for company management.Communication & Working RelationshipsInternal:Chief Investment OfficerVice President, GSI (Investor Relations)F&I LeadershipAny other directorate/unit as requiredExternal:Sell‑side analystsBuy‑side analystsDomestic and international shareholdersJoint venture partners and co‑investorsPotential investors and partners in the international marketFinancial institutions (banks, bureaus, etc.)Retail investors – domestic and internationalExternal auditorsQualifications, Experience, Knowledge & SkillsMinimum Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.Master’s degree in Finance is preferred.Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills:12 years of experience in investor relations or a related position in a large organization, preferably in the oil & gas industry.Highly numerate, strong finance fundamentals.Strong writing, presentation and oral skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. Multilingual skills would be added value.Proven understanding of investment analysis, valuation and drivers of company performance.Sound grasp of accounting and financial planning & analysis.Deep understanding of financial markets with clear knowledge of various market participant roles.Track record in representing a company within financial markets, speaking at conferences, hosting group meetings and engaging in one‑on‑one meetings. Commitment to the highest ethical standards, presenting information fairly and accurately and treating all participants equally.Professional Certifications:CPA, ACCA, CFA preferred.Core / Technical Skills: Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting; Cash Management and Foreign Exchange; Portfolio Management; Financial Policies; Market Trends and Industry Information Research; Investment and Growth Strategy; Stakeholders Management; Business Valuati
