Senior Graphic Designer - Urban Analytics

WHAT YOULL DOAs a Designer in the Urbanism Planning (UP) studio you will be part of a larger team in a fastpaced and everchanging environment and create high quality compelling creative work. You will work with our Urban Design Planning and Advisory teams to design projects endtoend by executing complex and ambiguous briefs with minimal direction by translating technical language and processes into creative ideas concepts and engaging stories to achieve their vision and to leverage storytelling. Youll participate in creative briefs that capture the business environmental and social challenges and have the ability to conceptualize and ideate creative solutions support all design decisions with creative strategic and/or reasoning present creative concepts and discuss ideas to internal teams. Working on multiple creative projects at one time youll drive the of creative projects confirming clients are satisfied with the quality of result.We value innovation cocreation inspiration and the impact that design achieves. We believe in the art of the possible and applying creative solutions to project challenges.YOURE GOOD ATCreating compelling holistic visual creative solutions including print reports branding and logos brochures infographics iconography (interactive) presentations storyboards posters data visualization web banners prototypes and consumer mockups marketing and event material etc. for projects proposals workshops and campaigns meeting high expectations and AECOM standards.Having the ability to work on projects from creative brief to final deliverable selecting and developing assets and executing final production (therefore strong understanding of digital and print ready artwork preparation; bleeds and related color and image operations).Having a sharp eye for layout design and awareness of design trends as well as selecting photography develop icons and graphics and coordinate final print production.Pitching creative concepts mock ups and new and innovative ideas to internal and external clients.Translating technical language processes and complex ideas into beautiful visualizations and compelling visual stories balancing creativity design thinking and innovation with business acumen.Developing fresh punchy and playful graphics while committed to delivering creative excellence.Transforming complex ideas / narrative into compelling visual experiences.YOULL WORK WITHA career in UP design studios at AECOM involves bringing deep strategic and visual expertise into project development helping to deliver breakthrough projects that engage and inspire. We have extensive knowledge of design thinking and humancentered design and are fluent in the latest technological innovation.YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Bachelors Degree in Design/Graphic Design/Fine Arts/Architecture or related field24years of experience in a Professional services environment/ Design startups/ Design AgenciesStrong knowledge of MS Office Presentation Design (interactive PowerPoint) HTML5 as well as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign etc.. Adobe Premiere AfterEffects Sketch/InVision Studio. ArcGIS and 3d tools knowledge are a plus.
