Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance Leader

We are currently seeking an experienced Governance & Compliance Manager to join a leading organisation in the UAE, playing a key role in driving enterprise-wide governance, risk and compliance frameworks.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organisation’s compliance programme, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies and ethical standards, while embedding robust risk management practices across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive governance and policy frameworkEnsure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practicesEstablish and manage enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworksDesign and oversee compliance monitoring, internal controls, and reporting mechanismsLead internal audits and support regulatory compliance across business unitsInvestigate compliance breaches and ensure corrective actions are implementedDrive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce riskBuild dashboards, KRIs, and performance monitoring toolsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred)Minimum 5+ years’ experience in governance, compliance, risk, audit, or business excellenceStrong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and risk managementExperience within highly regulated industries (e.g. real estate, financial services, government, healthcare, energy)Expertise in control design, implementation, and monitoringFamiliarity with GRC tools and compliance technologiesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsPreferredExperience within the UAE, particularly in real estate or regulated sectorsProven track record engaging with regulators and senior leadership#J-18808-Ljbffr
