Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer

We specialize in complex foundation systems, deep foundations, and ground improvement, combining cutting-edge technology with sustainable construction practices as we expand regionally through 2026.</p><p>NSCC International (https://www.nsccme.com)</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead geotechnical and structural design of bored piles, secant piles, diaphragm walls, barrettes, anchors, struts, and piled raft foundations</li><li>Perform advanced 3D finite element modeling using Plaxis 3D for soil-structure interaction analysis</li><li>Conduct structural analysis using SAFE for raft foundations and ground slabs</li><li>Design ground improvement works: vibro compaction, stone columns, dynamic compaction, grouting techniques</li><li>Review calculations, drawings, specifications; ensure code compliance (BS, Eurocodes, ACI, local regulations)</li><li>Manage and mentor team of geotechnical designers, engineers, and CAD draftsmen.</li><li>Support business development, technical proposals, and client presentations</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Master's degree in Geotechnical/Soil Mechanics/Civil Engineering from top-tier university</li><li>12-15 years experience.</li><li>MUST have substantial piling and foundation contracting company experience – consultancy only is insufficient</li><li>Advanced Plaxis 3D proficiency for FEM modeling and soil-structure interaction</li><li>Strong SAFE knowledge for structural analysis of foundation systems</li><li>Hands-on ground improvement experience (vibro compaction, stone columns, dynamic compaction, grouting)</li><li>Deep foundation design expertise: piles, diaphragm walls, anchors, barrettes</li><li>Proven multi-disciplinary project coordination</li><li>Excellent English; PE/Chartered Engineer status preferred</li></ul><h3>Technical Skills</h3><ul><li>Software: Plaxis 2D/3D, GeoStudio, LPILE, GROUP, WALLAP, SAFE, ETABS, STAAD.
