Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & ExecutionLead field exploration programs, including geological mapping, geochemical sampling, and drilling supervision for client projects.Conduct detailed lithological, structural, and alteration mapping to identify mineralization controls.Ensure and implement QA/QC protocols for field data collection and laboratory submissions.Perform advanced interpretation of geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets.Project & Client ManagementDevelop technical proposals and work programs tailored to client requirements.Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure on-time delivery within financial constraints.Assist in preparing comprehensive technical reports and presentations for diverse stakeholders.Technical LeadershipSupervise and mentor junior geologists and field technicians.Stay current with the latest exploration techniques and deposit models.Implement innovative approaches to enhance exploration efficiency and success rates.Team DevelopmentMentor junior geologists and field staff, promoting technical excellence and safety awareness.Foster a culture of innovation by integrating new technologies such as remote sensing and AI-assisted interpretation.SkillsRequired CompetenciesPeople SkillsEffective communication across technical and non-technical audiencesExcellent client relationship management skillsCommitment to safety and environmental best practicesBusiness SkillsAbility to translate technical data into actionable recommendationsClient relationship management (also bridges people and business)Strong technical expertise in exploration geology and mineral systemsRequired EducationBachelor’s degree in Geology (B.Sc.) is required.Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Geology or related field is preferred.Required ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in mineral exploration.Proven track record in managing exploration programs for gold and base metals.Extensive field experience across diverse terrains and deposit types.Advanced proficiency with geological software such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS, Surpac, and Micromine#J-18808-Ljbffr
