Senior Geodatabase Specialist (Utilities background)

The seconded staff should be Responsible for analyzing data from multiple disparate sources to discover hidden insights and make business specific recommendations and research requires for specific applications or users, design geospatial database structures and application capabilities in accordance with spatial and temporal data (GIS aware Database), and responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a database management system (DBMS). Provide engineering services required for ensuring the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the geodatabase, providing advice on database technology and products, developing, administering, maintaining, and supporting database solutions of the infrastructure sector. The Geo DBA Works shall be under the supervision of the client's representative and as per his directions. Minimum of 15 years of Developing databases/ modules related to design of hydraulic water modelling database, Infrastructure database, Geological database. Data Management/IT Professional with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience. Experience shall include Geodatabase design and development, integral knowledge of geographical information systems (GIS), web portal/application design, and demonstrated knowledge of spatial SQL Server and Oracle. Preferred academic qualification is a BSc in Computer Science, GIS, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
